What do you like most about your job?

What I enjoy most is the ability to make a meaningful impact on clients’ lives by helping them achieve their financial goals. Building long-term relationships based on trust and seeing the tangible results of our planning is incredibly rewarding.

I have over 25 years of experience in financial services, having held leadership roles at global financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs and UBS, as well as founding my own consulting firm.

Currently serving as Head of Investment Management at Fowler Drew Limited, Tariq specializes in bespoke financial planning and portfolio strategies for high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. Before joining Fowler Drew, Tariq founded TQS Financial Consulting Ltd, where he advised on regulatory compliance, market-abuse investigations, and quantitative trading strategies. His earlier career includes leadership roles such as Head of UK Corporate Credit Trading at Goldman Sachs and Head of Sterling Credit Trading at UBS Investment Bank, where he honed his expertise in global markets and strategic investments. Tariq holds a Master of Arts in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge. Outside work, he enjoys mentoring aspiring financial professionals and staying informed about the ever-evolving landscape of capital markets.
