What is your average day like:‍

I would wake at 6am, fully rested from restorative sleep and get up to do some light stretching before heading to my yoga class. After yoga, there'd be hot, fresh black coffee with others and then home for poached eggs on toast and another coffee. The day would be warm and sunny. I'd spend some time reading or listening to an informative podcast like Diary of a CEO or something with Eckhart Tolle. By mid-morning I'd be ready to head off somewhere for a mild or challenging coastal walk, stopping for lunch and maybe a cheeky beer. The late afternoon and evening would be time to catch up with friends, maybe on the beach or paddle boarding in Poole Harbour and then back home for dinner, journaling or reading before sleep.

What do you like most about your job?

I'm passionate about providing a holistic financial planning experience to people who come to me for help, which is not contingent upon selling financial products. I love the fact that I can provide independent advice. I enjoy developing long-term trusted relationships with people. It's the time I spend with clients that keeps me motivated to do this work—people are interesting when you listen, learn what makes them tick, get to the crux of the problems they really need to solve, and then go off to solve them.
